This includes employing people who reside locally to the sites we are working on, offering training opportunities and leading to sustainable employment.  We are Investors in People accredited and take our responsibilities to the local community very seriously. Social and economic benefits are another of our prime considerations and we have been very successful in over delivering many commitments made at contract level.

Joyner Group has a diverse client base consisting of local authorities, main contractors, housing associations and individual home owners.  The aim, regardless of client, is to deliver efficiencies and improvements with the overall result culminating in a warmer, more cost efficient and sustainable property.

Joyner Group recognises that it has social, ethical and environmental responsibilities arising from its operations; and it is committed to the welfare of its colleagues, customers, suppliers and the communities in which it operates.

The company actively encourage participation in community projects, supporting local businesses, schools, charities and associated activities. As Joyner Group work in some of the most economically and socially deprived areas of the country we acknowledge that we have a responsibility to the wider community, and act upon it.

The Joyner Group are extremely proud that it’s philosophy of employing locally, providing training opportunities, involving local employment initiatives, and using local suppliers and subcontractors has been recognised with an award for developing and regenerating communities at the Welsh Housing Awards.
